    If you smile long enough, then you start to feel happier because smiling triggers the release of endorphins. True fact.

    Also, if you're upset and you want to talk about feeling sad, then you can't just hang around waiting for someone to come and gush over you. That's a guaranteed way to make yourself feel more isolated. Take responsibility for your emotions and tell someone how you're feeling. People can't help you if they don't know, and often they're too busy with their own problems, or too polite, to ask. That doesn't mean though that you're all alone or that people won't be more than willing to listen to you if you give them the chance.
