I agree, there are too many people on here who seem like they browse around with a bee up their @$$ all the time, but it can't really be helped or changed. There is nothing we can really do about it except ignore them and try to make everyone feel welcome regardless, that's what I do. I only get after someone when they're asking for it, like calling someone stupid; then they deserve it, but when they are just asking for advice or something...Yeah.

I always try to be polite when posting comments, even if I disagree with the posters opinion. I personally think it's ridiculous for people to post rude comments on someone's journal, just because they don't agree with the posters opinions.

Like you said, if you've got nothing to nice to say, do not say it at all. It's not like anyones forcing us to comment. Just click the back button and keep your mouth shut. It's not that hard.

V. Its the internet. There should be a big bold in red reminder every time you log on to mibba of that very fact. People just take things too seriously when it comes to make believe land.

You're right. A lot of people on here do get really mean for no reason, and I must admit that that's me, too, when I'm PMSing (Not that that's an excuse). It's just the way they are... and besides, this is the internet, so it's easy just to ignore the hate.

I agree that people shouldn't be so rude. But if you ask for advice on here then you'll get it and you have to be aware that people might not always say what you want to hear...

It just so happens the internet doesn't have this button that says "tone." If we could write with tone maybe the things we wrote wouldn't sound so mean. Personally I don't aim to be mean when I comment someone's journal, maybe sometimes I'm blunt and it comes off as mean but I apologize for that. When I comment someone's journal my usual purpose is to find out what the point of the whole thing is and discuss it with the author and other writers. I don't know if its the same for everyone but I also know some people can be petty about things like this too and on behalf of those people(because I did used to be one of them) I apologize. No one should ever feel like they can't express themselves, this is what Mibba's about self expression. :]
