I really love November in the Seventh, but if you feel like it needs to be redone, then do it.
There's nothing worse than writing something you're not totally sure about.
Look at me,(please no negative comments for what I'm about to say) I had to do an entry for this contest, and guess what. I still haven't finished it. Why? Because first of all, I'm still not done, and second, I'm not giving in something that I'm not sure of. Oh, and another thing, the contest is over. Guess I'm kind of late.

All I'm saying is that if November in the Seventh is getting in the way of your baby, the most important thing right now, then you should put it aside. Your baby is crying out to you Kristen. Give it attention.

As for November, I'll have to agree with the other users. Re - write! Just remember that I'll read it over.

I rerally hope this helps, Kristen!

    Do it. Hands down.

I wrote a story once... I was twenty something chapters in and realized that the older chapters were, for lack of a better phrase, shit. My writing had improved immensely, and I had no clue how I was able to post the old stuff and actually think it was good. Plus, there were plot points I no longer thought were relevant.

So I took the whole thing down and re-wrote it (well, technically, I'm still writing it... it's been a long journey) and I am infinitely happier with how it's turning out.

Yes, we do post things on here for others to read, and yes, we want their opinions, but ultimately, we write for ourselves. Or, at least, we should be. If you're not happy with what you're writing, the story will suffer, and you won't be pleased with the final outcome.

So the short answer: go for it. And take as much time as you need until you feel like it's worth posting. I'll be looking forward to whatever you end up writing whenever you have a chance to do so :)

    I think you should!

I mean, the story's not bad or anything like that, but if you yourself don't feel that great about it, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY DO THAT! Because the author's feelings about a story are very important and they should be satisfied.

I would definitely read it all over again. Every word.

    Do it.

I wouldn't mind waiting. I will still read the story no matter what. Maybe re-writing it will give you some fresh ideas on what do next. I don't mind; I can wait for a good story.

    Do It.

Even if it means writing on napkins or scratch paper, then getting at home to finish it. It doesn't matter. I'm known for having scraps of paper and yelling: "Don't throw that away, I never finished typing that story!"

That's probably why my room's a mess. But if you love your story and believe that it's going well, then just add bits and pieces. Later on, you can combine those bits and pieces to get the bigger picture even more clear in your mind.

    Hope this helps.

    ANSWER: Do it.

You want to write something you know you're proud of. Something you've poured your heart into. If that means holding off until the summer, then go ahead. Maybe you could post is as a different story and explain it to be a different version? But you might want to ask your readers/subscribers first.
