I would just go out there and bug her until she let you shut it.

I'd just walk in there and be like, "Wow, mom! I'm so drunk!"

Nah, I mean, besides the drinking and the loudness, she treats me like how any mother would treat her own daughter.
Or I guess that is a way to put it.

I guess I'll try sooner or later.
I really can't stand only getting three to four hours of sleep a night.

Alligator; As am I. But it's really worth working up the courage to get over it. It sounds to me like your mother isn't treating you properly.

    Yeah.
I suppose i could try that.
That is, if I grow a pair and find the confidence to go to the school counselor.
    I'm a really shy kid.

Yeah, I've told her that before.
Besides, she knows I won't have boy company over, because she knows that I have a low self-esteem, hell I can barely talk to a guy, much less have them over.

But yes, I wish she would listen to me for once, I hate getting into fights with her >.<

Wow.I agree with Goaty. That's not really appropriate. You should be able to shut your door. I could understand if she wanted it open because she's scared you might sneak out or something, or if you had a guy over to hang out, but when you're sleeping and she's drunk? No...

v I still don't think that's typical mother behavior, but once again, I don't know your mother.

I also think that telling you to 'shut your mouth and know what's good for you' is a terrible way of solving the problem. Maybe you could take to a school counselor, or try talking to your mother in a different way.

She does it at least once a month.
My younger siblings don't hear it because they sleep on the second floor, my room is on the first, like, right next to the living room.
So, I hear everything that happens in there.

I think it's sort of odd that your mother is having her friends over and getting drunk and being loud while her children are sleeping.

I mean, I'm only getting one side of this, but that doesn't sound like normal parenting to me.
