"What happened to your eyebrows?" - Comments

  • I have trich, too :)
I do it from my head because I'm boring.
I obsessively have to comb my fingers through my hair,
and take out the strands that are loose.
It's pretty nasty to other people, but it calms me down.

  • Oh hun, don't worry bout it.
I've actually haven't heard too many people be made fun of their eyebrows. So it's interesting.

And perhaps though you could just get them waxed/plucked off, and learn to draw them on properly- so they look relatively the same all the time. That way you can do them and have them there when you need to, and you won't have the urge to pluck it out. Also it's not uncommon to draw them on.

Also myself, and many of my friends we often just accidentally over-pluck. So if it's not the noticeable and someone says something, just laugh and say, "I over-plucked." It's not a big deal.

Also though if you really do have this, uh, condition, maybe a medical professional could help you to deal with it. You never know. Anyways, good luck to you hun. :3

  • If it helps, I know it isn't the same really, but I have OCD, and when it starts to kick in, I have to blink a certain amount of times. Also, I have to twitch my fingers, and it makes me look like I'm a freak. Noone really has noticed, and my Grandparents and Uncle who raise me don't believe I have it.

That's kind of fine with me, seeing as though I wouldn't want to be treated differently if I really was diagonosed with it. And I know I have it, it's just that type of thing you know, you know? ha ha.

But I'm sure you're beautiful, and those kids that make fun of you can just go suck it. They're assholes. Believe me, once one, always one. And It's easier said than done, I know, but forget them. They don't disearve for you to be their friend! =]
