My parents can barely afford the lessons that I take with my two babies, Rosie and K.C. because of my brother's sports and my sister's intrest in the arts.

Honestly though, you shouldn't feel terrible about asking for it. It's something you love and you Dad understands that. Its not the right time money wise, but I think he really gets you want one and he feels horrible he can't get you one. Maybe wait until you know there is a bit more money in the house then?

Wow, I wish I had parents like that, that would make mine and my bro's lives a lot easier...
You should count yourself lucky, not everyone even gets that much spent on them in a few years. I know I don't :-/ but anyway, enough of my whining, you have some pretty damn good parents, you might actually get that horse if you keep it on your dads mind... just don't go overboard trying to do that! xP

I love my parents a lot, and I hate when people tell me that they don't have good parents, because that really sucks :(. I know some people who have terrible parents and their lives are a million times harder than mine.

That's so sweet. That he did that. I wish my father [if he was still around] was like yours. I wish my mom was like your dad, too. Never wish you didn't have the parents you do, because you could have really sucky ones like mine and that's never fun >:

Don't feel bad. You know what you did, and there's no reason to feel bad over not getting a horse and then getting the eight hundred dollars as compensation. You understand that your dad is a truly wonderful person, and just make sure you show him that in the future.
