Missand- in terms of the whole not complying with a certain ceremonies it isn't about going to hell for me, it's more the fact that it's like bad karma I guess. I'm not so good at explaining though.

I honestly dont believe if you dont comply in certain cermonies, bad things will happen. That's like saying if you dont believe in a god, your gonna go straight to hell and you'll have no chance of redemption.
If god is real, and you believe in him, God is about love. Not control over the masses, the whole do this and do that or else your gonna pay the price from god. Its just using fear to make people do stuff.
As for the paranormal, I am an extremely firm believer and I've been shown things that wont doubt that. Like attracts like, like in paranormal activity, using oujia boards and disrespecting spirit are negative...your gonna let the negative energies right into the situation.
