v Hrm. Well, if it was me doing the debate, I would delve more into the details of both cloning and IVF to really get the difference across, because I don't feel that you're getting the point of cloning > IVF across forcefully enough. But maybe that's just me.
I appreciate your comment, I personally think that cloning is kind of messed up. The thing is though, I've been assigned to do a debatewhere I have to take a certain point of view on something (even if it's not one I personally agree with).
The point of posting this journal was to get some feedback on my speech, and to see if anyone had anything to add.
IVF can help all couples though. We have donors who can give the other half of the zygote, and if the mother can't carry a child there is surrogacy.
IVF treatments can give anyone a child, including same sex couples through that magic of donation and surrogacy.
And it's still far more ethical than cloning in my opinion. In my opinion, to clone would be to take one step further in the battle for the super race, it would be one step closer to bringing out elitism even further.
