    That actually helps.
I do get my inspiration from other writers, the world, music etc.
I find listening to Rock music doesn't help. But then again i tune out anything i'm listening to, like i do with reading!
And i describe everything i see anyways!
    Thankyew!

Being defensive with a point is not a bad thing, I think.

I agree with the majority of these but I can't write when I'm happy. XD
I actually listen to Marilyn Manson when i'm writing certain parts. I have to have the mood in the music that my character has or else it turns out like this:
Bill was walking down the street and a cactus jumped on his foot. He screamed in anger, "WHAT THE FUDGECAKES?!"
    It's bad.

I agree with a lot of these, but it's actually the exact opposite with number 3 and 6 for me. Rock music often gets me in the mood to write, and I do some of my best writing when I'm angry. Being happy actually makes me not want to write at all.

I'll make it clearer for you guys. I didn't say that YOU SHOULD COPY THE ENTIRE HUMAN PERSON. I'm actually pertaining to cross referencing, just to give you a basic idea. It's like you're looking at different options---to create something unique and new, you'll mix at least one feature from each of them, that's what I'm saying. Now about that rock music part, I SAID IT WORKS FOR ME and I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU. I didn't say it would for you. About the food thingy, the um, gathering energy, I believe I made it clear that EATING MODERATELY will not make you fat, unless moderate means "gulping everything you see down" for you. As for the GRAMMAR part, I meant the basic abbreviations, simple subject verb agreement, and general stuff yada yada yada. I agree with uniqueness of writing styles, too. I do actually respect what you guys wrote---we all have our right to share our opinions and perspectives. And I believe I stated before I ended and before I started, that I do not believe this would actually be effective for you guys. I SAID FOR ME. I'm simply sharing what works FOR ME. I am not offended with what you've commented and I greatly appreciate it. Your opinion, however, does not affect mine in any way. To those who actually believed this crap, Thank you very much. :))))))) I hope it did you good. NO HATIN', JUST EXPLAININ'.

The OP didn't say anything about usign famous people for looks. It could be anybody, and I think it was ment to be more of a reference sort of thing rather than anything else.

I tend to listen to rock too when I write though. In my opinion, it brings out my more raw emotions and makes me think more carefully.

I agree with Sardonic Grin on this one. I usually only listen to rock music when writing, and I don't see how it would block your thoughts any more than pop or country would.

I write when I'm angry all the time! Haha, anger is just an emotion. I don't really see why you wouldn't write when angry... unless you're all like "ebpvnehcxfbukwoj." Yeah.

Also, grammer rules CAN be broken when writing dialogue. It's a hard feat to accomplish, but it can give your characters more personality and twist up the story a bit.

These are just my thoughts, so I understand if we don't think along the same route, and agree on the rules of writing. I'm just sharing my opinion on some of this. (:

I don't agree with most of these. I love listening to rock music. IN fact, Listening to The Used makes me write better and write more. I can't eat while I am writing. I can heat before writing, but eating while I am writing will just distract me and get me fat. And writing when you are angry is the best. The Used came from this anger I felt towards my ex-boyfriend, and honestly, I think it is pretty good.

I also don't agree with looking up famous people and copying their looks ind descriptions. Imagine your own characters. Give them their own looks.

Not saying I don't agree with everything- you have some good points. But some of them I just don't agree with and are merely subjective and depends on the writer.
