I was talking about this with my friend the other night. We both have nothing against marijuana. She came to the conclusion that...if it's legalized...then what does that open the doors to? You know, the slippery slope argument (I think...) or the domino effect. Legalize it, sure, like mosquito said, maybe people wouldn't use it as much, but then what else are they going to try and get legalized? I think that's what I wanted to say.
The Doctor; Marijuana is risky if you have the hereditary genes that may be set off by the over-production of dopemine. I watched that documentary too, but I listened a bit more carefully.
My opinion? Whatever it does, if it has an effect or not, I couldn't care less if it was legalized. Most of the time, it is the person's own decision to do that, as it is with smoking tobacco. Personally, I'd never do either, but if it's only affecting them, let it be.
I have no problem with it. I personally, don't do drugs. And I used to be only for the allowance of medical marijuana. But now, I don't really care. People are so against everyone using it and probably if it was legal, they wouldn't use it as much? Even so, it doesn't matter. Like you said, it isn't exactly bad for you.
