im glad you are able to express yourself in poems since you have a lot going on inside you.

doesnt seem to me that there is anything wrong with you at all. being in middle school is a hostile environment for just about everyone who isnt totally clueless. and your poems show that you arent clueless so im sure you do have to suffer a little.

try to relax and not let the whole middle school scene get to you. focus on those friends, adults, ideas, activities, etc that build you up. and keep writing -- its interesting to others and good for you.

There's no need to change who you are for acceptance. If someone listen to your comment, and give you a look, simply ignore it or walk away if you have to.

Why care so much what they think if they are unrelated strangers?
'Those who matters doesn't care, and those who cares doesn't matter.'
Your true friends knows you, they wouldn't care or pick on your comments. Those who insults you - you need to ask - who cares? And if you're depressed by them then you're giving them who they wanted - don't let them win.

Don't doubt yourself! Just because you lost a friend doesn't mean your life has to end. You make always make others.

I deal with this too. I am mean by nature, but when I pull myself back I feel horrible for what I say half the time. Also I have the same friend problem they "understand" but do they really? I'm on the same boat so if you need a shipmate, I'm here (:

Well the first part to building self-esteem is loving yourself for who you are as a person.

Also in the whole world and in your entire life time, you will probably only have three friends who are worth more to you than anything.

You're thirteen, you have so many people to meet and things to do, don't feel so down in the dumps. Everything takes time and everything will get better, you just have to believe it.

Have you ever done anything to make people hate you?
Don't doubt yourself too much. Even if you lost one friend, you still can get another one.
