Right when you submit your stories, instead of that spell check in the corner, it'd go through it's own spell check and grammar check. If you have names, you could input them in, and it'd omit those. >.> It's a rather simple thing. Dujo should be able to do that. Then from that point on the story will only be checked again when someone edits it or something. If the spell and grammar check miss it, then it couldn't be too big of a mistake. By the way, the layouts could just be checked over by editors or moderators and that be all that needed to be checked. That seems like much less work.

I wasn't trying to be mean. I was just saying, it seemed like everyone was fighting about it.

The system not working doesn't have anything to do with the editors, but with Dujo. They system isn't fully functioning yet so the editors cannot do anything about the report. We're all waiting here. Not just you.

Which is why more editors are needed, and no it would be automated. With only a glance needed over layouts. Which could just be done in that section. It's not unrealistic. It happens on other sites, it can happen here.

Yeah and I would agree about suggesting it to staff, but so far, I've never had anything said back, or anything really done at all. I'd also understand about the stories, if it took a shorter peroid of time, but seriously. Think about how long last December (if that) is. That is way to long to have to wait. Be honest, it is. You all know that. If this story takes just as long, that really can't be considered exceptable.

Obviously, a failed system is what is here. If you don't have enough editors, then you can't have this sort of system. It's again not fair to mibba members.

Everyone should at least understand that. If they had enough editors, to get the story checked at least in under a month, then yes, that's a little more exceptable. Don't you think? I really have tried talking to members of staff, but they get more offensive than anyone. They're not going to change unless the members make them.

Approving stories wouldn't work because of the volume of stories and chapters that get posted. It's unrealistic and the waiting times would be exponentially worse than simply replying to a reported story and then waiting for your report to get dealt with. At least with the reporting system you can still update and post your story and chapters.

I seem nice?! Wow... that's new to me, but thanks. You seem pretty nice as well, just frustrated, which is understandable. And yeah, it must hurt seeing your story get reported, although none of mine have been reported, I've gotten some harsh comeback over the years I've been writing. Normally reported stories get fixed a lot quicker, but Dujo is updating the site (or... I'm pretty sure he is...) and so right now the staff can't help, though they'd like to. There probably could be a better way with the reporting system, maybe the editors could approve the reportings before the story is classed as reported? I'm not sure that'd be possible, but if you make the suggestion to a member of staff, I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Aww, well petite since you seem so nice, I can't get mad at that. I never once said Mibba wasn't a great site though. It is a great one, but it's just something that should be addressed. It's like the old point system. People got hurt seeing none. Well people get hurt seeing that their stories were reported for no reason. It's not fair, I understand that it doesn't change anything, but it doesn't make it perfectly okay to just let it go on. Also, I understand that it can't be easy, but then again, it shouldn't even exist if it's not working.

Getting reported isn't a big deal, it happens to a lot of people, just work past it and don't worry.

You can't force Dujo into changing anything, because one users opinion won't makie him change a site with a lot of members. This is the best he and the staff can do, they work hard and do a great job. It's probably not easy for them., so just.. work with what we've got?

I haven't even been arguing with anyone, I've been replying to comments left on my journal. I disagree, with many and I'm expressing that. It's not arguing.

Than stop worrying about it. If there is nothing wrong with your story, than you have no reason to be fighting with everyone. They all just want to help. If one person reports your story, okay, oh well. Their jealous. But you can still post chapters. :)

It's been more than one and I know many of people who agree! Also, if you would actually read my comments, intelligently, you'd realize I do personally love Mibba, but this ONE thing, is unexceptable. Of course there are many rude people on here, that granted, any site has those, but other than that Mibba is nice.

Okay. I think everyone needs to calm down. Sounds like a disagreement. If this site was funded properly (I don't know if it is) then, they could probably MAYBE do Raingirl's idea. But, if it's not we all just have to deal with what we have. People report other people because they rude and have no life.

We're going to have to deal with THAT for a long time. If someone reports your story just because they want to, it's no big deal. If you say there's nothing wrong with it, there probably isn't, SO, it won't get deleted. As long as it's not deleted, I think that's good. :)

If you think so lowly of Mibba and Dujo, then why are you still on the site?
He never had to spend his time, making this site what it is. You could've been stuck on Quizilla forever.

So either quit complaining or... leave.
Because one report is not something to go and harass Dujo about.

Yes, there is something people can do about it. Force Dujo to fix it. This is his site, but we're the reason it's here. Without it's members, it's nothing. He has to fix it if enough people are fed up with it.

Honestly, though, I don't think anyone is going to like it. And I'm not trying to be rude here; I'm telling the truth.

My story, Ghost of You, was falsley reported for everything. When you click the report button, every single little button was checked. Was I upset? Yes, I was. But I got over it. Because no one can do anything.

And Dujo has a life, and more than one site. And if he didn't care about his members, I highly doubt Mibba would be what it is today.

It is the basic layout that is provided on the layout editor with three drops of blood on the side.
