He turned out to lie and cheat on me anyways. I wish I never convinced my mom to let me see him. D:

My Parents are like that too. Pretty much, Exactly like that. except, i had a guy friend i always hang out with. He's gay. My parents still refused to let e see him. Wtf. So one day he just showed up at my house and i let him in. They didn't know what to say. I just introduced him and he was very polite. Now my mother thinks he's lovely and he's the only boy dad will let me go near. :D

you're young. my grandmom was the same way when i was fourteen. i couldn't go to someone's house if their parents weren't home. i couldn't stay out passed nine. i wasn't allowed inside of a boy's house. the only time she let a friend drive me home (back then) was when i started high school, and my senior offered to give me rides. have you tried sitting down to talk with them? having a serious talk (trying to avoid arguments and any whining) about wanting your parents to meet him, and why you think they should -- it might be a good idea.

if you are only fourteen, there is a lot of life ahead of you. i wouldn't worry about boys and i'd just listen to your parents. they really do know what's best for you. in a few years, you'll have more freedom; it comes with the territory of aging.
