this is EXCATLY how i feel about this one guy...i knew he liked me but i was afraid to show hi i liked him too.. now that its a new year we each other anymore..ughhh

Try talking to him more aroud school, then see about getting his number to text him.
Just say something like "Hey, I was wondering if we could text, since we don't see each other a lot at school".
If his friends are asking if you like him, chances are, he like you.
Just don't wait too long, so he doesn't move on

I think that most of the time that there must be a reason but... nothing seems to happen.

And we´re both kind of shy, so...

Just try to get to know him and hang out with him more.
There has to be a reason you're feeling this way
