so sedated. it's not the worst but it is one of the most annoying. And coming up with a title, I don't think anyone would mind if the author took a hour or two to think of something good. I mean I'm not expecting everyone to have a Twilight title (Indicating that Twilight has nothing to do with vampires hence having a random title) but I also don't like to see the obvious.
I think it's basically like tagging it... It doesn't give exactly who's in it, but something like that, you already know what it's going to be about. Usually those stories end up cliche and that's the sucky part. I pretty much just hate those long titles period. Cliche or not, I hate when the title is like a whole sentence or saying.
Hah. I've seen this everywhere -- not just on Mibba.
It's not that people have no creativity, sometimes they really just have no idea what to call it, and they take the first title that comes to mind.
I'm not encouraging it -- but it is not the worst thing that could possibly happen -- though it does give away the whole story idea, and isn't that what a summary is for? But eh, it's a bit irking, but everywhere, I doubt it will go away any time soon, and hell, I use to have a story with one of those titles years ago when I was still a noob at writing.
I think everyone has had one of those titles at least once.
I agree. There should be a rule. Or, we should make a whole new section: horribly written cliche stories, to go along with ture story/ original fic/ fanfic.
