It's a two-way street. You don't want to make out with him anymore, then...don't. Next time you see him, if he tries to make a move again just stop him and reinforce your belief that you just want to be friends. If he can't respect that, you may have to evaluate how he fits into your life after all.

Id say just be cuddy buddies make it obvious you dont want anyone else right now but that you want to be free when school starts and no attachments. Talk about it see fi you both could handle it some people just cant hang with cuddy buddies.

And PS when a guy likes you even if he says he doesn't there will always be that small flame ready to blaze, unless some other girl can come along and steal that light.

I'd listen to what hopes anchor says as well. My best friend liked this guy, and she put of telling him, and he got with another girl. And that sucked for her.

Don't not be with him just because you're leaving for college.
And, if you have feelings for the guy, embrace it.
I mean, you've been friends, and you know he's there for you.
You know him.
But, if you really just don't want to be with him, then don't do it just because he does.
You do need to sit down and hammer it out with him, though
