Ive never had that problem but if its an innocent thing like that then dont take it of. I hate when even you see on tv shows they take people and dress them all the same. Its so stupid. Everyone should be able to express themselves even in their own home. The only part that my family bugs me about is my piercings and i could care less its not like i am hurting them. Well okay, but they are your parents and you're only 16. You should just listen to them when you have to and whenever you're out with friends, where what you like.

The point is that they want me to look a certain way, like them, and I don't want that. I shouldn't have to be different near them. I should be allowed to be who I want to be, and what I want to look like everywhere I go.

Don't wear it around them then. If it just causes a fight and you end up taking it off anyway, just don't wear it near them. Problem solved.
