Whether it`s used to be offensive or not, you shouldn`t use it in the place of the word stupid, it`s not right. It`s the same as saying you are so ___.(Your name in the blank) Would you like that?

It's only an offensive term if you're an easily offended person. That term isn't offensive and it's tiring seeing people make it one.

I don't think words used in such a casual way are really offensive anymore. This might not be th best example, but if you think about the way so many friends call each other bitches, and nobody gets offended. It's sort of just slang.

But yeah, I can definately see how someone could get offended.

It doesn't offend me, or any of the gay people I know.
We know that whenever someone says, "that's so gay," they aren't trying to be insulting to actual gay people.

I can see why it would offend some, though. I guess?

This is all true. But sometimes I just can't refrain from using it, no matter how much I hate to. :\ That's why I say ghey.

I've considerably cut down my use of it, though.

I understand about it, Gay is a sexuality. But Gay also means happy, too. And Gay, in the way I've been brought up, in some cases, mean stupid. No one around me finds it offensive, and they use it too. Teachers don't find it offensive, neither do my parents. I understand why people might not use it, I'm not straight myself I'm tethering on a line, but in a respect, it's not offensive. Only if people are simple minded and take words like that offensive.

I know what you mean. There's these boys in my school who keep calling a book gay 'cause our homework is to read one chapter every night. -_- It gets so annoying.

A BOOK cannot be gay people.
