Actually that sounds freakin amazing! I love when people have dreams, I just hope you follow through with it. <3 Only thing is, you may have an awesome idea. But what happens if it gets stolen because you posted it online? You know? But still, that's amazing. :] Sadly, I'm not much of a gamer. lol

Really? Wow, that is amazing. Unfortunately...I am not like that anymore. When i was younger, I would just write, never plan my story. Now I do.
I always daydream about my story (the one thing that has not changed) and I learned more about my story. It like creating a movie in my mind and I am the director.

One of my dreams is to create a RPG story. I want to create a game that people will like to play. Example: Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts series, Tales series.
    But becoming a game designer not only mean writing story plot but also plan everything else for the game. (menu, fighting style, treasures location, etc). Shocking,isn't? {This is the reason why I started planning my story.}
    I know....What a big dream I have.

But when I am writing romance or a story that takes place on Earth including fanfictions, I do not need to plan. All I need is a general idea of what I am writing about.

Unfortunately...the story I am writing for the NaNoWriMo is a Dark Fantasy genre. I am using the idea of Halloween. Think of Nightmare Before Christmas.

Well the crazy part about it all, is it's so weird. It's like, when I write I'm in their world. The characters tell me what's going on, and how they live their life. It's pretty insane of me actually, most would say I'm not normal for this. But it's like I'm just documenting what I see going on in my head, like a movie... lol... But I am enjoying your ways of thinking, with getting to know the characters. For me it's different, it's like I'll sit outside and smoke a cig (yes I'm a smoker. Shame I know.) and talk to myself aloud, having the characters talking to eachother, then when I come back inside I type out what just happened... But, I swear! I'm not crazy! lol

Yes it is insane for this to have 2 pages, though I'm surprised there isn't more. This certain topic tends to draw a lot of attention, from those that see your point of view and the immature kids that will comment offending you. I have respect for those that respectfully put their opinion, whether it's agreeing or debating with you. I have zero respect for those that just start calling names. I'm waiting for the name callers to emerge themselves.

    Your welcome!

For one of my story, (I haven't start it) I need to know my characters. The story, itself, is very complicated. I can't wing it as I write. I already have the ending in my head (I never thought how it should end until one day an idea invaded my mind). This story have a history of the past. I have to understand what happen in the past which leads to the present. This is a fantasy adventure genre with a touch of science fiction and a little of romance.

For the NanoWriMo story, I am winging as I write the story. I have a general idea what I want to write about, but I know nothing about the plots, characters, world, etc.

I'm quite surprised at the two pages of comments. :P
Like the others have said, I'm not trying to offend, or tell people what to do, mostly just ranting. I'm glad people see eye to eye with me.

Raipura: you make a good point, I hadn't even thought about writing their goals and a little about them. I just explain them in the story as they come about, I'm the kind of writer that writes as I go. I don't have the plot figured out, like the ending or anything, until it's the end. Sounds crazy, but my imagination runs wild sometimes. Which is why I'm doing my best to try and perfect it. lol.

Squirrely.Kassi - Your title is an interesting title as AmorarEsDeVivir stated. When I read your title, it got me to wonder who should should not tell where your character live now. I had to read your summary to understand your title. The thing is your title do not tell the whole story.
If I was to read a title, "I Used To Be Rich And Now I'm Stuck In The Ghetto! What If My Rich Classmates Find Out?!" I can pretty much guess how the story going to be.

I have character profile pages too, but I used them as reference. I need to understand my characters before I can write about them. Also I like to use pictures as well to get the general idea how my characters look. But I do not give these out to the readers.
On my character profile pages, I write about how do they think, what is their goals, what do they believe in, are they a Doer or a Boer, etc, etc, etc. Of course, I may not know everything about my characters, but I can learn something new as I write about them. (Character Development)

As for the people that took this seriously. Everyone has their own opinion, everyone should respect that. Sometimes you just want to vent, that's what this story is about. When I used to write Draco Love Stories back in the day on Quizilla, people would complain about that but I didn't read their journal and yell at them for it. lol

AmorarEsDeVivir, I really appreciate that comment. I'm trying not to be cliche with the story, hence why everyone's all "Where's her love interest?" Because I haven't made one yet... I'm trying to get my writing better, with the plots and stuff. Mainly right now, I'm having a hard life (sounds stupid, everyone has it so I'm not complaining) thus I come online to write my story and escape for a bit. lol. :]
I have a character bio page, only because the pictures of the characters remind me of a movie. I'm thinking of going into like movie production, and I look at them as my actors. But you don't have to go to the character profile page, it's just there for those that like to see pictures. ^_^

AmorarEsDeVivir - I completely agree with the character bio pages. It already tell the readers about these characters. A decent writer does not need these.
I like to learn about the characters I read.

raipura - Oh god I know. There are few things more annoying than a title that gives away the entire story.

I hate the character bio pages. I have never, ever, EVER seen a book where, on the first page, it told you about the characters, their backgrounds, their appearances, and their personalities. There's a little thing called "character development," and I refuse to read any story that doesn't have it.

Squirrely.Kassi - "Don't Tell Them Where I Live Now" is actually kind of an interesting title. If you'd named it, say, "I Used To Be Rich And Now I'm Stuck In The Ghetto! What If My Rich Classmates Find Out?!" then we might have a problem. =P

Raipura... I am guilty of that title thing. -_- My story title right now is "Don't Tell Them Where I Live Now." I guess it's kind of long... Ugh... My other titles are "My Secret", "Deathly Kisses" and something else hahaha

I agree, some of the stories get redundant... I know my stories are probably redundant as well, I'm trying hard on my new one... But ehh... I don't know, I'm writing it out of fun... I hope that doesn't add to your list, what kind of story I'm writing hahaha it's about a girl that was rich, got poor, had to move to a ghetto neighborhood and go to the fancier school because her mom (although she becomes a bad mom) doesn't want her going to the ghetto school. *shrugs*. It makes me happy hahaha
Anyways, I get this post. Sometimes you're just so annoyed you got to vent... lol

I agree with you 100%. Ugh....I stopped reading these stories long ago.
Now days....Even I do not like writing romance story. I am just tired of these kind of stories.
I still read romance stories (not from mibba, but on other sites) {Correction...I read most stories on a different site}.

Now days....It kinda hard to find a worthy story these days without all the stereotypes. What I hate the most is how the main character is Mary/Gary Sue or the characters (from books, anime, bands, etc) are OOC (out of character).

What I do not understand is why could these authors write a better title for their story. The title they used are way too long. I understand that titles can be the most challenging part to write. But still I want to see intriguing, attention-grabbing titles, not plot summaries. These titles aren't even clever-- they're just sickeningly long. I find it quite annoying, and refuse to read anything that has a ridiculous title.

    * I hope I do not offend others. When I was reading this, I HAD to rant my dislikes as well.
