Learn the Guitar? - Comments

I play the acoustic guitar too. :) Taught myself. I was given three chords and just built off of that, and even though I'm no pro, I'm not half-bad either for someone who taught herself. I'm learning the harmonica and eventually the ukulele once I have one, and I know some basic piano but not much. I kind of listen to the song and play it by ear. It comes out sounding pretty okay, like Intermediate type stuff. :)

I play/ed the drums and the keyboard.
I still play the drums a bit, but I sold my keyboard.
I was pretty good at keyboard... the first song I learned was 'Hear I Am' from the Spirit soundtrack. I love that song... :)

No I don't play sadly. I own a Fender that I got for Christmas last year...it's a very complex instrument. Not easy at all, I guess you either got or you don't and I definately don't have "it"...or atleast the patience to get "it" lol.

I used to play the clarinet. But I stopped a couple years back. I really have no desire to learn new instruments.

I so badly want to play the guitar. My friend is offering me his for $50 and free lessons but my mom wants a professional to teach me. First I need to find someone who can give me lessons, then I can buy his guitar.

I have a keyboard, but I'm a vocalist and actress at heart.
