But I totally agree. My "boyfriend" (I'm getting really mad at him, but for a whole different reason) calls me 'baby'. I hate it, but I don't have the heart to tell him to quit it. It's like, I'm a grown person, and in a couple years, I'll be a legal adult. I am not dependent on anyone and I am not an infant. My name is Catherine; call me that.

Gladd to know I am NOT the only in this world who thinks that. lol

I hate when people call me that too. Sometimes my friends call me Liz and Lizzie when my real name is Elizabeth. I wouldn't mind them calling me Kelsey though, but nothing else. I was called Lizzie since kinder garden, and this year I finally cracked. I ignore people who don't know how to call me by my real name.

Now back to you, Abby's a really pretty name. HAI ABBY! *waves* :3 And... I think that's kinda clever when you're in that sort of situation. Why didn't I think of that....

I despise being called babe or baby.
I draw back from the relationship right away when I do get called "babe".... I get all uncomfortable.
