    If you're going to have sex, planning it and being prepared is the best way to go. The guy you were texting is most likely a virgin, or a guy who doesn't want to use a condom. Kudos for you for getting on birth control.

    I think the guy you were texting needs to grow up. I think there's a difference between planned sex and preparing for sex but neither are terrible things.

    I'd have to agree with Electric Goat and also it's not wrong to have planned sex, I mean you know what you're doing it's not like Oh lets do it and then a few weeks later you find out you're pregnant.

    Not only to make sure its safe, but my boyfriend and I talked about it for months just so we were sure we were emotionally ready for it.

    I think planning it make it more safe. As in you have your protection and all that good stuff. They don't say "Don't be silly, wrap your willy!" for no reason. I kind of wonder if this guy is a virgin. Like no one around here is these days and he's three years older than I am. I don't want this dude to freak out, but yeah.

    No..
    I mean, my ex and I talked about it for at least a week before he went and bought condoms.
    I don't think anything is wrong with it.

    I don't think its wrong at all.
    Sex is one of those things that a couple should talk a lot before actually doing it.

    People who plan it usually don't end up pregnant unless they are planning to have sex to get pregnant. I planned it with my ex, I actually plan my sex before doing it all the time. I mean planning to be safe is the best thing that people can do. Hello? Who wants to be on 16 and pregnant? Anyway, I think what you did was right and that guy is probably a virgin or he would know that most people do plan out their sex, like plan to be safe for it. Just because you plan to be safe and talk about it before hand doesn't mean it can't be spontaneous (;

    I don't think there is anything wrong with planned sex as long as you're being safe about it.

    In my opinion, people who aren't married shouldn't have sex. But, I know a lot of people -- most people -- have sex before marriage. So, if you're going to, I'd just say be safe about it. Really, really safe.
