But really, I think if it's not repealed, shit's gonna hit the fan. So it probably will. Positive thinking, yeah?

Actually, it's not final yet. The House passed it, today the Senate passed it.
But they have to draw up one by both of them and either sign it or get it signed by the president (I forget which). As of right now, it's not been repealed, and though the odds are superb, there's always that slim chance. . .

Repealed means no more DADT, right? Sometimes I get confused.

It was repealed today.

I've begun to think that true equality doesn't exist. But I go to a school filled homophobic asses, some of which know about my sexuality, so that may have something to do with that.

Something I realized in the past few months, though: Sixty years ago, interracial marriage was still illegal in some states. Now, it's commonly accepted. One day, I truly hope equality becomes real, and even if it's not in my lifetime I'll be okay. Because the world is changing.

The Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy is being voted on in the Senate soon (it might be today, actually.) The change is starting.

Don't be ashamed of who you are.

Be proud of yourself.
If the world can't accept you, then fuck the world.

What matters is how people choose to live their lives, and what direction they choose to take.

The title of this journal was just a little sarcasm, I just felt like going on a bitch rant because I'm a teenager and crying over how life is unfair is what we're supposed to do. Sorry I'm not usually this sarcastic & pissy.
