It sounds really interesting, Like something I would read. I think it has a lot of potential, I can tell it will be pretty good, from just that small excerpt.... I can't help you with anything else, I'm not great with layouts, and I have no personal experiance,sorry :( All I can do is tell you that I personally really like it.... can't wait till you post it! :)
