I actually don't have a problem with that line in the movie. Because I'm a writer and think people shouldn't be censored.
My dad is weird. He votes Republican but he has 0 problem with gays, gay marriage, DADT, etc.
I guess just be thankful for him not being judgemental of your friends
it is kinda rude with the whole "i thought it was funny" with the commercial
because he knows that you are sensitive about it
the whole door thing was kind of ridiculous too but
since he is a strong conservitive republican, he belives this should be ths and that should be that. I dont think hes trying to hurt you or anything :) good luck!
