my mum dose this al lthe time but never about apresent! i would just give your boyfirend the toy and tell hem whats gone on, and tell your mum strate if she dosnt want to listen make her listen to you!

Honestly, if I were you, I'd give her a piece of my mind. Your mom seems way out of control. Who cares if he didn't get you something? If you don't care she shouldn't either. I mean, where is it her place to do this anyway? Texting off your phone is ridiculous.

Sorry if that sounded like a rant, my parents do these kinds of things every once and a while too.

I think your mum might be going a little overboard with this. I mean half of my friends didn't get me anything for my christmas and i didn't reall care. Just tell her that it's your boyfiend and you want to give him the yoshi toy.
