v Yeah . . . that's basically all i've just said. And yeah I was looking forward to it.

I used to like X Factor but not so much anymore :Z It's pretty entertaining though.

Hmmm. I don't quite understand why your so mad...were you really looking forward to the American remake? I don't get it. Like you said Skins isn't going to disappear, and you don't have to watch the remake honestly. The thing is America and Great Britain are two totally different countries, with totally different social values. Remakes of British shows that are changed are to appeal to an American audiance. America is still majority (amongst the adults mostly) a homophobic nation, and in American shows where they have a gay guy, his sexuality isn't talked about much. Another thing in censorship. Censorship is huge here, if a BJ was shown on a T.V. where it's easily viewable by children, you'd get a big nice fine from the FCC.

BTW, I'm looking forward to the X Factor. XD

The thing that confuses me about an Inbetweeners remake is that they'll probably make it cleaner too, but most of the charm of The Inbetweeners comes from it's crudeness . . . who knows. It could be good. I'm doubtful, but it could be . . .

v You're right, Glee really wouldn't work as a British show.

Oh really? I've never seen that show though I've heard of it.

i'm not Skins biggest fan, but i don't see the point of the american version, especially when there's so many varied american teen shows already (90210, Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, Glee, etc) & i feel Skins only works because it's so raw & british.
I mean, same could be said for Glee, i can't imagine it working as a british show.
but i totally agree with you on The Office - I love both versions.
p.s - don't know if anyone watches Being Human, but that's being made into an american show too :(

I wanted to shoot someone in the face when I saw the trailer for the American series. Its just... ugh! I adored Maxxie, I really did. I think that angle they had with him and Tony was great and stuff and then...yeah.

Oh dear god, if they kill The Inbetweeners shit is going down!
