I've just recently started talking to my friend's ex.

I so get where you're coming from although just today, my friend came up to me and told me that it was fine with her if I was talking to her ex. If she's a real friend, it shouldn't matter at all.

Well since they broke up, it's fair game in my opinion. I mean, it's not like she can control who you date or hang out with.

I think that you have a right to talk to him and do what ever you want with him. They don't have a claim on him just because they dated. You have a right to be happy, if you like him go for it. They shouldn't be mad, its not right it they are.
