    How about zombies? Those are sort of real. If yes, I have a good book for you :)

    It's called The Forest of Hands and Teeth. It's REALLY realistic and set just a little in the future (or you could assume its the present, the point is, the date isn't set). It does have romance but not like that and DEFINITELY not Twilight-y. You should definitely check it out. :)

    Well there are a few. My favorite is like science-fiction? Kinda. The Host. It's by the writer of twilight, buts it's really good.

    Others: Just listen, Maximum Ride, Crank, Lock and key or anything by Sarah Dessen.
