Being eighteen is not what it is cracked up to be. I learned of- and exercised- some of my new found legal rights a mere two weeks after my eighteenth birthday last year. If everyone had to take legal custody of their crazy, drunk mother for the day, I bet the glamor would soon wear off quite quickly.

I'll be eighteen in a few months and honestly I wish I was sixteen again. Yeah it sounds odd.

Your sister sounds annoying at least my sister doesn't do that. I agree with your advice, you seem wise.

lol I love the relevance in this. When I turned 18, I honestly didn't feel any different, though. People ask me how old I am and I almost say 'seventeen' by accident. Yup. It's hard feeling eighteen when you still look like you're twelve...

Joshua: Yeah...our legislators don't like raising or lowering anything that has to do with drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.

Eighteen is really a useless age. Nineteen is the magical age where you can drink.

Or, for you I guess, twenty-one (such bullshit).

When I turned 18, it felt the same as being 17. We ate tacos and had ice cream cake on my birthday. It was nothing special, really. It was just.... the same.

Your sister sounds like exactly what happened to my cousin the very second the clock hit midnight and she was 18. I hope my friends don't do that. I hope the age doesn't get to my head after I hit the number in a few months. >.<

I like eighteen because now it's our new driving law. I've grown up with my dad being a car-speed-pro-driving kind of guy. I want to see what the big deal is. (:
