Tell me about it! I remember once I was writing an original fic, but no one read it at all, so I changed it to a band fic and BOOM! I got readers. It was horrible, and a real eye-opener. I've decided that from now on, everything I post here will be original. I honestly don't care anymore if they aren't read - it helps me evolve as a writer, creating all these OC's.
And that's why I'm scared to go to the vampire section of any store now. Once upon a time, it was good vampire fiction, where the vampires were dark, sensual, forbidden, and the two worlds only ever collided at feeding time. But all this same crap is annoying, and makes me lose faith in this generation :|

I agree, there's been a lot of cliche stories on Mibba lately. It gets old. Personally, as soon as something gets to be REALLY cliche, I just stop reading it. xD But, I guess its appealing to the masses, and that's why its popular. The rest of us just have much better taste :)

Exactly! For a while the story I put the least effort in to at all and made totally cliche with perhaps some good wording got the most subs like 19 in 4 days. I think I removed the story cause just.... no... just everything about it was a no go.

Bro, I know how you feel! same thing with me (although I deleted the quizzilla like stories). I think maybe we just want to all live cliche lives. Who knows? I just wish the stories that people actually take time to think about would get as much attention as the other ones...
