You're not worthless. I'm sure your son would be the first person to agree. Things get better and your son being there should be proof. If you love him as much as you say you do then, he's the meaning of your life.
Wow. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I believe the meaning of everyone's lives is to know God and have a relationship with His Son, Jesus. You have your son to take care of as well. Do everything you can for your son. He would be sad if he knew you were thinking badly about yourself.
The meaning of your life is your son and to make him the best possible person you can, don't take life for granted because you may not get tomorrow. I know it sounds stupid but you need to stop downing yourself because your son sees that the more you life yourself up the more he'll lift himself up. He'll become what he sees, do you want him to be as sad as you?
