Wow. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I believe the meaning of everyone's lives is to know God and have a relationship with His Son, Jesus. You have your son to take care of as well. The meaning of your life is your son and to make him the best possible person you can, don't take life for granted because you may not get tomorrow. I know it sounds stupid but you need to stop downing yourself because your son sees that the more you life yourself up the more he'll lift himself up.
