I think that's absolutely wonderful that you want a typewriter at 13, don't even worry about if you are like any other your age; it's better to be different =P

I have always loved vintage typewriters though, what exact era is it from?

    1. No.
    2. I'd love to have one.
    3. Alright, I'm feeling pretty good, so, all's well =) Yours?

My grandma had one and I use to play with it when I was little

I'll probably buy one for myself when I'm older. There's just a classic feel to it =]. And I know Stephen king prefers to use a type writer.

    1. No, but they look so cool.
    2. Yeah I'd feel like an old fashioned novelist sitting in the study writing downthe next plot of a story.
    3. Pretty good so far.

1.) Yes, my mom had one. I used to have to use it for school reports because we don't have a printer. Still do at times.
2.) lol I had one. It sucked a little, because there isn't any backspace key, so you couldn't really go back over it unless you used white out...so it became annoying.
    3.) It's pretty good :)

I'm thirteen and I love typewriters.
Except I make too many mistakes when typing, so I appreciate the backspace key.
I do want one, though. A pretty vintage one, like yours!

    1. No, unfortunately.
    2. As a matter of fact :D
    3. Hmm...it hasn't really started yet.
