A lot of the time, I'm the same exact way. I write about all kinds of sad things because to me, it feels more real than happy-go-lucky and bubbly writing. It makes me question myself, saying, "Why am I writing like this? No one is going to want to read this," but I feel that it makes the reader feel and sense the writing. I hope that I helped at least a little. :)
