Feminism is equal rights/empowerments for women and men. It's not about hating a gender because they're that gender or stereotyping them.

I think equality is the key and hatred will never help achieve that goal. I'm not a feminist, I just think we should all have the same rights.

I would explain further, but I'm on my phone and it would take forever. lol

The most eloquent argument I have heard yet! And I had this debate with my class! Thank you!
I don't call myself a feminist (I don't put labels on myself; try not to at least), but equality is very important to me.

Feminism is not supposed to be about hating men. It's supposed to be about empowering women to make their own choices and having them be treated as a man's equal. Not having them be better than a man or hating the entire male gender. Some women take it to extremes, giving feminism a bad name by spreading hatred towards men. But that's not feminism and it's not what it's supposed to be about. I'm a feminist myself and all the movement is about is empowering women to make their own choices, live life the way they want to, and for women to be treated as a man's equal. We don't hate men at all. The only "feminists" who do are taking it to an extreme, trying to justify their hate towards men and giving us a bad name.
