You should just go for it, homecoming is much more fun when you let yourself have a good time. And don't worry about being a freshman in the middle of upperclassmen, we've all been there(:

If you want to go then go. It doesn't matter how skinny or heavy you are, you can have fun at a dance if you try to. And if you don't, you can always leave early. If you really don't want to go then don't. Don't let anyone pressure you into either decision, do what you want.

Go to Homecoming.
Who gives a sh*t if you're not like your friends? They're your friends.
They wouldn't tell you to go if they didn't want you there.

Plus, all of those worries disappear once you allow yourself to have fun and be happy.
