    -__- Yeah...they didn't have to my butt.

I guess they also didn't give the Indians blankets contaminated with diseases either, oh, and the Trail Of Tears wasn't that bad...yeah, right. My family line on my mom's side would exist if a white man hadn't raped my great great (too lazy to remember how many greats) grandmother on the Trail Of Tears.

Most records for people are on the male side, since women were goats that could speak back in the day. So I would ask your dad then go from there, then of course ask your mom for her side.

As for maybe finding out your Family Crest always the fathers side. I'm still trying to figure out if mine in the Irish one or the Welsh one.. Damn this common last name!

pinkstar61: Well, I don't really think ALL of America is evil, per say. Just the people who run it. xD

WalkingOnBrokenGlass: That's cool. I just know I have some Native American in me, and then Irish apparently but I would like to know more..

The power of justice: I will

Well, I would've suggested Ancestry.com, but it costs a little money, but maybe you could ask your parents. I asked my mom about my ancestors and she gave me like 10 pages of lists of my ancestors going way back to the one's who got off the boat to settle in America.

And I don't think America is Evil, or was Evil. Sure, it wasn't right of us to kick the Native American's out of their land, but that doesn't make someone evil. And I don't really agree with how America is being run now, and I'm not too prooud of how America has been lately, but I still love this country. I think that if we wanted to we could turn ourselves around. =)

Not really anything that is free...you might get a free trial with ancestry, I'm not sure.
My parents use it to do our family tree, and it's expensive.

The area where I live was part of the Trail of Tears.
We have this place called The Chief Vann house.
