I'm so sorry you have to go through that...yea I know how you feel, happened to me six months ago. And yet, I'm still depressed and sad and I cry all the time. But what to do right? this should make you stronger. Sweetie, friends like this come and go, this won't be the first 'close friend' that will walk out on you. As for me? Well, my hearts broken and I'm messed up pretty badly in the head, but don't let that get out of hand like I did, it's hard to explain the feelings, and I know it's hard, but with an open mind I'll tell you this..

I've been there with my old best friend. :(
And sometimes it is best to pull away if all of your attempts at telling her to wake up and smell the roses isn't working. I know it's one of the hardest things to do, and still every now and then I get a phone call from her or I call her and we talk, but it's not the same as it once was. But you know what? You still got the memories, and you just have to form some type of close friendship with another person.
