Filth V. My day was loverly! :D

The red shoes? That sounds really good! It does sound like a story my mother used to read to me as a child. Where a little girl has these special red shoes which get enchanted, so she is forced to dance until her feet run down to stumps. Of course... that didn't happen in my version of the story. Stupid watered down Grimm's tales. >.< They said that she simple began to dance endlessly and never stopped. But all the same, I will definitely look up Red Shoes!

Best horror story that freaked me out? Well, it's a Japanese story...

So I guess these people discovered a really old painting dating way back into historical Japan, just a really long time. This painting was of a severed head, drawn in red ink. I think they said that this portrait was of a felled samurai or some nobility. And there was a legend saying that a small portion of it was drawn in the blood of the slain man...
This discovery was huge news, and they actually revealed it on a hour segment on national television.

They were in the middle of the segment when the studio broadcasting it got a phone call from a viewer. After that, they abruptly stopped the broadcast to check out the portrait.

Now, the portrait was of a severed head of a man, drawn in red paint, and his eyes closed. When the viewer called, he/she pointed something peculiar about the painting...

For some reason, thirty minutes into the segment, the portrait's eyes were opened...

The thing that freaked me out the most was the fact that it was true. I thought it was some urban legend, I really did. But I saw the video of that very segment fast forwarded...creepiest thing ever.

Maybe it was faked, maybe it wasn't. I don't know but bottom line, it freaked me the hell out!!

    1) Yes. A long, long time ago.
    2) The Nutcracker.
    3) YES. I adore turtles, tortoises, and terripans (I think that's what they're called). ^_^ This is mostly due to the fact that I have a pet tortoise.
    4) I have no idea.
    5) See #2
    6) Okay.
    7) I don't know. Don't usually read or watch that kind of stuff.

c h e r r y v. I will most definitely look up Box. It does sound rather fascinating... I seriously hope I don't end up like that! My panic attacks are not fun! But even if I do end up with the WTF moments... that'll be okay. It means that the short horror story was EPIC BEYOND ALL RECKONING! Thanks~!

    4. XD you did try! Quite a good answer as well!

Ballet dancers are so wonderful, but I know they suffer alot of pain sometimes. They basically dance in ways that require the body to bend in ways that it's not meant to. But the body is a strong and wondrous thing :P

Takashi Miike created the three extremes which is basically 3 short horror stories. My favorite was Box. It's not a gore horror story. But when you see the ending it'll leave your mind in shambles for a few minutes or days even after. At least thats what happened to me and I don't scare easily. There are a few moments in between that made me say wtf...WTF ...w t f

    1. Nope
    2.---
    3. nope
    4. FluffyPanda Turtle feline ... I tried
    5. Nope
    6. It was okay
    7. Box

v Haha. Thanks! Yeah, it was pretty intense. I was at the studio for five days a week, but 6-7 during Nutcracker season. It took a lot out of me, and sometimes I'm glad I have time to have a life again, but that's it---it was my life.

But I'm glad you enjoyed your friend's recital! :D
