It is truly horrible how hateful some people can be. As a lesbian, I've been through a lot of things dealing with homophobia and it's never really easy to deal with. Sure, you can get used to it and learn to brush it off, but it still hurts. I now live in a city that is really accepting and known for having a lot of gays living here, so things like this aren't really encountered face to face for me anymore. But I hear it a lot of TV and online and it still hurts knowing there are people out there who will hate you just for what gender you fall for.
Really, the only thing you can do is just try to brush it off and not let them get to you.
I use to watch that show all the time, and whenever the new season starts, I'll watch it. It makes me sad at how much stuff goes on, and only a few people will stand up for people.
I have nothing against gays. It's their life, you know? But I do get annoyed when I'll see a guy and oh, he's so gorgeous but then goes and holds another dudes hand...COMMON! I LOVE YOU...
Like, I went to walmart the other day and I saw...oh em geeeee....the cutest Asian. He was such a gentleman and let me go before him and smiled and i almost fainted. Then he walked up to this other dude and says, "Hunny, we don't use that soap, remember?"
WHY!? WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE?!?!?!
Yeah...I'll get over it...He was just...ugh...too...cute...bye
The only time I hate on gay people is if they have a rubbish personality, make out in front of me, introduce themselves with "Oh , and btw, I'm gay, too." or if someone does something wrong to them, say "It's because I'm gay, isn't it?" The same way I'd do it for a straight person.
