i don't think the fact that she (or other people that do this) said you were faking an accent means she doesn't know what a real aussie accent sounds like. she was just being a b*tch and trying to make you look bad. /b*tchesgetstitches

    v. Heeey, I want to do voice acting too :3
And I totally agree, If I was faking my accent, I'd have to punch myself in the face daily.

    That bites.

Off topic but still sort of on topic, I hate it when people actually do fake living in a certain country. Online, that is. I've seen girls trying way too hard to pretend that they live in Scotland, or something, and like mentioning that they do every chance they get. Like, "Oh, did I mention that I'm from Scotland?" But then they don't even use an ounce of Scottish terminology. Like saying "friends" instead of "mates". I hope they realize that it's not just the accent that's different.

... But, yeah, it's pretty lame when people think shit like that. I'm an aspiring voice actor, and I don't think I could pull off an honestly believable Australian accent. It's a bit of a difficult one. xD

She's silly and needs to get off your back. I would say 'You're faking your American accent for attention!', but I guess with her, it's better to ignore her. XD
