Fan Fiction Vs. Original Fiction & Comment Swap - Comments

I kind of understand your annoyance because although I don't write original fiction, the fandoms I really love to write for are not very well known. It seems people won't touch a fanfic if they don't know who it's about, but the same people will give original fiction a go.

I agree; you said it. There are exceptions, but a lot of the fanfics with the popular bandfic theme seems to get the most comments, subs and stars the fastest.

I'll swap for either of my stories. Whichever one you feel like reading. =)

Fan-fiction doesn't always get more views. My original fiction story Dear Nobody has over two hundred subscribers, yet my fan fiction one doesn't even have ten.

EXACTLY! I agree with the first paragraph completely! I even posted something like this on a journal, saying almost the same thing, and most people didn't understand, or didn't agree, so it's good to find someone who thinks the same way, cause I've noticed this too.

Nah, you're right. I noticed that too. Fan fiction gets a lot more reads and comments then an original fiction, hm.
