My old stories make me cringe. - Comments

I think private profiles are silly.

I deleted almost everything I had posted online because I improved so much so fast, and unfortunately my English vocabulary isn't nearly as good as I want it to be. Old stores makes me sort of happy as well though... it's proof that time is passing.

Yeah, I hate when people's profiles are on Private. I can understand if it's private from people who aren't registered on the site, but for people who are? I guess they have their reasons though. I usually just push the Add as Friend button or whatever it says, and they usually accept. I only have like 2 people who have never accepted my friend request on here. I think two of the accounts are inactive now or something.

So, could you check out my new story Leaving Earth? It's only one chapter so far, but I'll be adding more soon. =)

I always read my older stories and think "Holy crap. Did I really write this. Was I that stupid?" Then I wanna delete them but I can't because it would be gone forever, unless I copy and pasted it in Word. Which I'm not gonna do.

Exactly. Like, I would at least expect the person who commented on your profile to add you, to save you from the awkwardness. Sadly, that's never how it goes.

I don't like private profiles either, but I'm not against it. I mean, if they don't wanna have a bunch of scream-y, annoying fan-girls swoon them (or for any other reasons they might have), then by all means go right ahead.

What I dislike most though is when they comment on your profile and you go to comment back, and then you can't. Like, I feel awkward to send a message after that.
