    V. Sometimes it takes a while for it to show up. Give it some more time. It does that to me a lot, takes forever to show up.

Sorry to stray away from topic but I think it would be foolish to make a journal about it. Is there a problem with the stories section? Because I just updated a story and I don't see it there =[

    v. What your original post said - and what I responded to - was "it's not abuse".
I was merely pointing out that it depends on a persons geographical location.

vv Again, I for one couldn't care less what you're country states. I don't live there. I also did not ask you if it is illegal or not in your country. I am only stating my beliefs, thx =]

    v No problem hon ^^

    v. Again, depending on your geographical location. Here it is.

vv. I can think that here, because here it is abuse. Period. It's how I've been brought up and it's a law I've always followed and will always follow. To me it is abuse. Just like it's not to you - which I respect - to me it is.

Okay I take that back. Was wrong of me. I get its the law where you live. I understand that and respect that. But what I'm saying is dont go thinking that some parents who 'tap" their kids in letting them know its wrong to do that, is abuse. Hitting them badly, is. I respect your opinion.

Also it's unnecessary to insinuate that I didn't read the journal properly or that I've put words in your mouth. I haven't. I've read your entire journal in whole, and that was not what I was referring to with my original statement. Who is putting words in whose mouth? ;)

    v. Depending on your geographical location, of course.

Lol I understand what your saying, even a light tap on the wrist can help tell your children that they're doing something wrong. Shouting gets old, and you can't ignore them, so a tap on the wrist is another way. It's not abuse, I see what you're saying.

"Then wow. I guess tons of kids are getting abuse everyday."
That's not respecting our laws (as I respect yours). You're free to think that it's a ridiculous law, obviously we here do not and most people in Sweden are grateful to the end of the world for that law since here there are no excuses. There's no "oh but I only" or "but I didn't even" - no! It's all abuse here.

Nothing in your last statement was very respectful either.

Did I say it was everyones problem? No? Okay then. No I did not. I didnt write "oh its everyone problem" but if I did PLEASE point it out and prove me wrong. I said ITS their choice. I didnt go out and say "please spank your child" no I did not. People really need to learn to read the whole thing...

    v. I didn't define the law, and if your definition is different then I accept and respect that. I'd appreciate it if you'd respect that our definition is not different. All of the above is abuse here, and it's fact.

I understand that, its in the law where you live. Like I said if you dont like it, thats fine I understand that. But saying "tapping" your kid is abuse? Then wow. I guess tons of kids are getting abuse everyday. Hitting them until they turn red or bruise them yes that is abuse. Someone people need to learn the difference. Thats all Im saying.

If people want to not spank their kids or if a country declares it illegal, how is that anyone's problem?

That's how parents teach THEIR kids on whats wrong.

Yeah, that's one of the ways and my parents even used it. I might use it. But it's one of many ways and if someone doesn't want to use spanking or thinks it would be wrong to spank their own children, that's their choice and it should be respected by all.

    v. And what she said. Yes.
