Awe, don't be nervous, dear. From my experience, high school will definitly play a major role in your life. It's about making the right choice for yourself. Do you want to go that way or this way? All schools are different. I attended two different highschools. One in the city, one in a small rural town. The city school, I was better adapted too, not only because I grew up in the city, but because there is so many people there, it's hard to create cliques. The small town school, I hated it. Everybody knew each other, and when I transferred there, I became the black sheep.

Highschool can be enjoyable, just keep your head up high, and watch where you are going :)

Freshman year is SO much fun. It's NOTHING like the movies, I PROMISE you. My favorite movie is Mean Girls, so I thought it was going to be like that and I was terrified lol. But its NOTHING like that.

Who will you sit with at lunch? New friends from your new classes! Most schools don't do a full day on the first day, so you can start making friends, and at lunch, sit with them! Trust me, EVERY freshman has that worry.

My first day as a freshman was a bit tricky. I spent the whole summer listening to "Fifteen" by Taylor Swift. That song, it gives good advice. I suggest listening to it. But the first day, its hard finding your classes, but there's always going to be some nice upperclassmen who will help you if you look lost :)

there's going to be cliques, but there's WAY more cliques in middle school than there are in high school, at least where I go to. The people in high school are more mature (for the most part) so they won't usually reject you if you want to be friends. But don't come on TOO strong! :)

You'll do just fine. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. And freshman year is going to have a lot in store for you! I had my first real boyfriend for homecoming, I wonder what your first HS relationship will be like! Don't worry, be EXCITED! WELCOME TO HIGH SCHOOL FRESHIE!

There were no cliques at my schools like they portray in movies lol. If you just be yourself and stick with the right people, then you should be fine. Don't let people pressure into doing things you don't feel comfortable with. Stay on top of your homework (: it'll save you so much stress in the long run.

It varies from school to school, but you just learn to deal with the drama, and you go on. The stereotypes from movie are somewhat true if not melodramatic; I mean, they had to come from somewhere, right? Just stay calm, have a level head about things, and you'll be fine.

Er, you're not allowed to just randomly type stuff if you haven't met the word count. It's considered spam. But. High School isn't even that bad, people mostly just mind their own business and keep to themselves. You all have one thing in common - wanting to get out of there. Just breath, no one is going to give you a swirly or anything.

My school DID have freshman friday though, that sucked. At my school the guys would just slap the girls behind really hard, but it varied between high school.s.
