My aunt wants me to work with her. I really, really don't want to. Not even just work with her, but I don't want to get a job because of someone else, ya know?

I'm having similar problems, so it's not just you. It's still a pretty harsh economic climate out there, and business owners are wary because of it. As well, I keep getting the line of, "Well, we want more permanent workers who can work for me all the time. We just don't want summer work and part-time work during the year."
It's tough beans, ugh.
