It's people like this that make me proud to be Christian. She sounds so lovely. My whole family is very accepting of homosexuals, and I hope that more people like this can get spotlight instead of crazy radicals.

I'm very strong in my faith with the Lord and God, however, I have a hard time with mixed beliefs when it comes to things such as how homosexuals are looked at. I believe they deserve to be happy and that God still loves them, even if homosexuality is frowned upon in the Bible. However, people--like my own mother--do not agree and I have a really tough time standing my ground. I don't totally "support" it, but I think everyone deserves to be happy.

It's hard to find Christians who accept gay people. Mostly I think it comes with experience. My mom, for example. She is a Christian woman and she accepts gay people because my brother and I are gay. When she first found out, she was in hysterics. But eventually she came to terms with it and is okay with it (:
