I completely agree. Though, seeing recent activity doesn't bother me. If I couldn't see that, I wouldn't be commenting on your journal. Hehehe :D. Anyway, the creepy girl? Such a turn off. I really want that gone as soon as possible. Why would Dujo even THINK of doing that? It's just beyond me. It's also really hard to find anything on here. I had to search multiple times just to figure out where MY stories were. I also don't see why there needs to be an "alert" button and a "notification" button. It's just one more thing you have to check.

I agree, the banner was an instant cringe. Why, why would they ever choose some random, smug animated woman and make it the first thing anyone visiting the site sees? I've been here for years, and have viewed a few changes Mibba has undergone. Typically they were improvements, but this new layout is most definitely not. Does it seem kind of glitchy to anyone else? Even scrolling down the page is slow. Gah I hate this.

I couldn't agree more with you. They said before that this was supposed to be simple to use. Its not simple its a mess. This is way to much like a social network. I dont want to come on here and see all these people and their pictures like on facebook and I don't like how everyone's layouts are the same. its boring

I hate the profiles--I don't want people seeing information I don't want them to see, like recent activity. Hello, privacy much? I know it's not a big deal, it's just stuff people post and reply to and such, but I'd prefer not advertising that to the world.

I also can't stand how the forum comment structure now applies to blog comments. It drives me off the friggin wall to have my eyes adjust to different fonts, sizes, and colors from one comment to the next. It literally requires physical work for the eyes to adjust to that. Plus, with the customized profiles being "hidden", isn't a revamping of a website supposed to make things easier, not harder?

Blog layouts... don't get me started. I used to write on here, but I've stopped in the past three years or so. Then I transitioned to the journals because they were easy to read and comment on. Now I feel like I'm going to have a constant headache.

I also see more ads with this design than before.

Gah. I know people are going to say that we've only had it for a day, we'll get used to it, etc. But the fact they're ignoring is that disliking something isn't always temporary. I'd appreciate it if people will let me think what I think and not tell me I'm wrong over my own opinion.

...Sorry about the rant. I think it's high time for me to transition to Tumblr.

I think I agree. I don't like it, it's too Facebook-y. I hate the new profiles, and I hate that we can't delete our own "updates", it's so messy looking.

I am upset over the way our profiles look. For me it will take me a while to get used to this. Grrr...

No-one really likes change. But you've only had a day of new mibba compared to a year or so of old mibba; if it wasn't strange, that in itself would be strange. So all I can say is give it a little time, or at least give yourself more than a day before you write off what's been a few years of work on the site creator's part. There's still a few kinks to be worked out, and you might find in a day, or a week, you'll slowly come around to it. You might not, of course, but at least give yourself a chance to.

Also, your custom profiles are still around; if you click on someone's profile, to the right there's a blue button that says 'profile' that'll take you to their custom one. You can also link directly to it using www.mibba.com/member/your member number/profile. They're not gone completely at all, and who knows, they might change about a little more while Dujo's working out the kinds.

Ah, well, that's your opinion. I happen to find the site actually pretty easy to get used to and it's not confusing at all, but that's me. I think it looks wonderful. Also, you didn't lose your customized profiles. They're still there. Just a tad bit harder to find, but not much.
