Yeah, but people who got banned before the new filtering options were in place won't get the chance to use them. They will be missing out on a big feature of Mibba simply because they were unwilling to do something that made them feel uncomfortable.

That's not how the swap works, it's not okay to not read someone's story if you're been given it. There may be more features and options in the future, but as of now, not reading stories will get you banned from using it.

Yeah, I understand that, and I would be okay with people skipping over my stories if they were uncomfortable about reading it, too. I mean, I wouldn't expect a heavy Christian to read a story about abortion, and I wouldn't be angry at them for not reading it. I just don't think it is fair that people are punished for not wanting to do something outside of their comfort zone.

I didn't think about the rating thing, but that would have made sense.

Further down the line it'll be possible to have a few more choices when it comes to swapping, but you can also at this point choose a lower rating, because then there at least won't be any "heavy" smut of incest/slash. People may not like the fandom you write in either, but it'd be impolite of them not to actually read your story.
