that's what I think too. It's healthy to spend some time apart that way you can still have your own identity. My boyfriend and I broke up because I couldn't remember who "I" was so I think that's really important.

I couldnt go 2-3 days without starting to really really miss my girlfriend, but thats only because I wasnt really doing anything, if I had a job and played football then I could probably last around 5 days.
She didnt want to see me as much, so it was hard.
I think when you really love someone you just want to be around them all the time, because being with them makes you happy. Obviously, being around each other all the time isnt good, but it is important that you miss each other, so when your together, you appreciate the time more.

thanks for commenting guys :) We've been dating for almost two years now so I have no idea what the right way to feel is. I suppose I could go a few years without a boyfriend if I wanted to.

I see my boyfriend once a week, sometimes two, but that's rare (he works a lot), and before him I haven't had a boyfriend in four years.

I haven't had a boyfriend since I was sixteen. I'm twenty-one now. I don't feel like anything is really missing from my life. And when I was in high school and dating that guy, we could go a few days without seeing each other and be all right.
